Dream Keeper Bring me all your
dreams,
|
About the Project The Dream Flag Project is an extension of what happened when sixth-grade classes learned about Buddhist prayer flags and learned that you can print out poems on fabric. The prayer flags are ancient Sanskrit prayers printed on fabric and hung on a line. They blow in the breeze to take the prayers to the spirits. In class, each student wrote a dream poem, printed it on a special kind of 81/2" x 11" fabric, and painted it with watercolors. Then the flags were hung on a line to blow each person's dreams across the sky. And the dream flags were born. Now we invite everyone to join in, because we need the dreams. |
