Dream Keeper

Bring me all of your dreams,
You dreamers,
Bring me all of your
Heart melodies
That I may wrap them
In a blue cloud-cloth
Away from the too-rough fingers
Of the world.

                --Langston Hughes

What are your dreams to share with the world? What is your dream flag?

What words bring your dream into lines of poetry that can flutter on fabric?

What images and colors make your hopes take shape and fly in a flag?

Inspired by the poetry of Langston Hughes and the tradition of Buddhist prayer flags, The Dream Flag Project is about creating a line of dreams that can span the world and wrap us all in a blue cloud-cloth.

--Make your own 8 1/2" x 11" Dream Flags on fabric.
--Begin the project the week of February 1, 2004, Langston Hughes' 102nd birthday.
--Connect the Dream Flags by the week of March 28th, 2004.
