Here's a schedule for the Dream Flags Poetry and Pizza Celebration

9:15 Haverford Arrives -- get settled--flag lines out ready for connection. (:10)

9:25 Opening in the Gym--group song (:15)

9:40 Get Into Small Groups for Readings--groups of approx. 12, mix of AIS students from and Haverford students from different sections (:10)

9:50 Small Group Readings--all students read their poems and get literary feedback from the group (:25)

10:15 Break for Snack in Gym--will serve ice-cream pops--"dreamsicles" (:15)

10:30 Regroup, and have recitations to whole group--selected readers from each school (one or two per section?) and/or choral poetry performances of Hughes poems. (:15)

10:45 Set up for and connection of Dream Flag lines--one per section. (:10)

10:55 Closing and song. (:15)

11:10 Break before lunch (:05)

11:15 Lunch in Assembly Room--pizza on tables with drinks and cookies. (:30)

11:45 Haverford departs, AIS girls have 15 min. recess before 6th period.
