Sharing Dreams On-Line!

Part of our project is to post as many poems as possible on our site so that students can read and respond to the work of other Dream Flag poets. We have a Gallery of Poems on this web site. Check it out to see what's there from last year.
(One middle school class used a comparison assignment to help students read, think about, and compare Dream Flag Poems.)

This year we hope many more can add their poems to the collection. Basically, you just have to email them to us at dreamflags@agnesirwin.org. Here are some details to remember:

  1. Please list the author's first name and last initial.  We don't publish student last names on the site.
  2. Be sure to include the name of your school and the grade(s) of the students who wrote the poems.
  3. You don't need to send all of the poems. Samples would be fine--just 10 or so from each school would be great.
  4. It's best to email a Microsoft Word document attachment with the poems on it, but typing them into an email works as well. Also, we can deal with other formats if Word is not available.
  5. If you'd like to send any pictures of the students or of their flags along with the poems, we'll put them in as well, and it's a great addition.

Please feel free to call or email if you have questions about how to do this. dreamflags@agnesirwin.org   610-525-8400 x1703
