Participants:
We're up to 31 participant groups now in PA, MD, DC, VA and OH!
Musicians: Also musicians Andrea Clearfield and Manfred Fischbeck (who performed so incredibly with at the Dream Flag Project Celebration in '04) have said they could do it again! You can check out Andrea Clearfield's web site to learn more about her music.
Mentors: Many of last year's schools and groups have agreed to be mentor schools to this year's new participants. Thanks to them, there will be more ways to find out how to make The Dream Flag Project a fabulous experience for all involved. Emails have already started going back and forth.

12/17/04 To date, 29 groups have committed to participation in The Dream Flag Project for 2005! It's a fabulous collection of people, places, and dreams. Check out the list below and visit the sites. These are the people that you will work with, starting on February 1st, the 103rd birthday of Langston Hughes!

To accommodate the holiday rush, sign-up deadline has been extended to January 10, 2005. Interested schools should email dreamflags@agnesirwin.org by that date.

12/10/04 April 16 is set as the date for the Philadelphia Regional Dream Flag Celebration at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Broad and Spruce in Philadelphia. Details will be upcoming, and ALL participant groups will be invited to send flags and have poems read at the Celebration.

11/29/04 Schools in the Philadelphia area and beyond are joining the project. To date, there are fifteen schools committed--14 in the Philly area and 1 in Ohio. We brought brochures to the NCTE conference in Indianapolis! Many more schools have expressed interest and not yet committed, particularly in the DC area.  See the list of participant schools below.

Date for committing to the '05 Dream Flag Project is December 15th. Invite your friends!
