My Dream for the World

My dream for the world…

looks as delicious as a cheese steak nachos when you’re starving,

feels as orange and fuzzy as a peach,

sounds as joyful as bells on Christmas Day,

smells as juicy as a Granny Smith apple when you first cut it,

tastes as grateful as custard when you first get it.

The World of My Dreams

The world of my dreams…

looks as rich as melted chocolate before you put it on pretzels,

feels as warm as Mom’s warm hugs and kisses,

sounds as peaceful as the ocean breeze against your face,

tastes as sweet as apple pie and ice cream after it comes out of the oven.

My Dream for the World

My dream for the world…

looks as colorful and vibrant

as a golden, purple and green tie-dyed shirt springing with life,

feels as amazing as a leprechaun sprinkling gold from a rainbow

looking over the world,

sounds as harmonic as a wave crashing into a white sand beach,

smells as peaceful as a walnut roasting and crackling over

an open fire in the twilight.

My Dream for the World

My dream for the world…

looks as peaceful as if everyone is happy and graceful

and is at a place they love the most,

feels as lovely as if everyone were in gold heaven and peaceful,

sounds as harmonic as if angels were playing their harps

and spreading purple magic dust over the world,

smells as joyful as a colorful rainbow crowning the world

and dropping yellow pots of gold,

tastes as chocolaty with a red cherry on top

as everyone gets their most favorite dessert.

The World of My Dreams

The world of my dreams…

looks as graceful and joyful as ginormous blue whales

spurting water out of their sparkling spouts

and the water turning into all of the amazing things I can think of,

feels as heavenly as if I had a golden angel that would grant me

every responsible wish I could think of,

sounds as Mozartish as if Mozart would play his most delightful pieces forever in my mind,

smells as thankful and deserving as if the world would never

get rid of the orange cheese on cheese steak

or the rich chocolate sauce on any dessert,

tastes as peaceful as if I were eating the dessert I just told you about.

Johnny H.

My Dream for the World

My dream for the world

is light for all people in dark places –

fire hot on my face

exploding on the wood,

crackling and spitting sizzlers

bursting and popping,

its red, orange and yellow clash

like swords in a battle,

heating the soul and warming the heart,

its magical rays against my face,

the charcoal black as night,

the last coals burning through the night

as they die out.

Fire – a magnificent light in the dark,

smoldering wax on a candle,

lighting dark places

and

warming dark times.

My Dream for the World

I wish for world peace

I wish for war to cease

I just want the world to be a better place

We can do it by moving at a steady pace

Judging people isn’t right

There’s no need for us to fight

It may take long

But it’ll be worth it

After we see all the things we’ve done wrong.

Malcolm J.

My Dream for the World

My dream for the world…

To be a general, you don’t need guns and tanks –

Try looking to peace to improve your ranks.

Destroying all guns in the world would be nice,

But just not using them probably will suffice.

To make the world a better place,

Try to be a world peace ace.

Don’t have darkness – it’s boring and dull.

Have radiant light to keep life at its full.

Let the sun shine with radiant light,

And look at the moon with joy at night.

Robby R.
