My Dream for the World
My dream for the world
is light for all people in dark places –
fire hot on my face
exploding on the wood,
crackling and spitting sizzlers
bursting and popping,
its red, orange and yellow clash
like swords in a battle,
heating the soul and warming the heart,
its magical rays against my face,
the charcoal black as night,
the last coals burning through the night
as they die out.
Fire – a magnificent light in the dark,
smoldering wax on a candle,
lighting dark places
and
warming dark times.
Jamie H.
My Dream for the World
I wish for world peace
I wish for war to cease
I just want the world to be a better place
We can do it by moving at a steady pace
Judging people isn’t right
There’s no need for us to fight
It may take long
But it’ll be worth it
After we see all the things we’ve done wrong.

My Dream for the World
My dream for the world…
To be a general, you don’t need guns and tanks –
Try looking to peace to improve your ranks.
Destroying all guns in the world would be nice,
But just not using them probably will suffice.
To make the world a better place,
Try to be a world peace ace.
Don’t have darkness – it’s boring and dull.
Have radiant light to keep life at its full.
Let the sun shine with radiant light,
And look at the moon with joy at night.
